🚧 Troubleshooting: GPS and Tracking Issues

Known Issue: "Show Driver Path" Displays Limited GPS Data

This affects Android users running version 2.36.16, where some routes may only register a few GPS points instead of the full driver path.

Recommended Actions:

  • Keep the app active in the foreground to improve tracking accuracy.

  • Disable aggressive battery optimization features which may be suppressing GPS.

  • Refer to Don’t Kill My App! for device-specific configuration tips.

  • Check that the Driver App is updated to the latest version (2.36.16).

Driver Appears Offline When App is Minimized

This can occur on both Android and iOS due to OS restrictions on background activity.

Common Causes:

  • Battery-saving features may prevent background updates

  • The app loses connection when not actively in use

Fix for Android

  1. Open Settings > Apps > Mover Driver App > Battery

  2. Set Battery usage to Unrestricted

  1. Go to Settings > Mover Driver App

  2. Enable Background App Refresh

Additional Recommendations

  • Always keep the Driver App updated to benefit from the latest bug fixes and tracking improvements.

  • Ensure GPS and location services are set to "Always On".

  • Encourage drivers to start and keep the app active during execution.

  • Report persistent issues through the Help & Support section in the app.
