Troubleshooting: GPS and Tracking Issues
Known Issue: "Show Driver Path" Displays Limited GPS Data
Some routes may show only a few registered locations instead of the usual detailed path.
Primarily affects Android users on version 2.36.6.
To ensure accurate tracking, drivers should keep the app active in the foreground whenever possible.
If using an Android device, ensure battery optimization settings do not restrict GPS tracking. Refer to Don’t Kill My App! for device-specific solutions.
Driver Appears Offline When App is Minimized
On some Android and iOS devices, when the Driver App is moved to the background, the driver appears offline.
Some Android phone manufacturers restrict background apps to conserve battery life.
To prevent this, allow background activity for the app in device settings:
Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Mover Driver App > Battery > Set to Unrestricted.
iOS: Go to Settings > Mover Driver App > Enable Background App Refresh.
Additional Recommendations
Always keep the Driver App updated to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements.
Ensure GPS and location services are set to "Always On" for continuous tracking.
If persistent issues occur, report them via the Help & Support section in the app.
By following these steps, users can improve app performance and minimize disruptions to their delivery workflow.
