Introduction

The Driver App is designed to help drivers manage their routes, communicate with customers and complete deliveries efficiently. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for using the app to execute a route.

For guidance on how to get started with the Driver App, including how to create and customize your profile, click here.

Starting the App

  • Login Screen: Open the app to access the login screen. Enter your credentials to sign in.

  • Home Screen: After logging in, you will be directed to the home screen, which provides an overview of your assigned routes.

  • Menu Screen: Tap on the menu icon to see all available options, such as "Routes", "Schedule", "Profile", "Settings", and "Support".

Managing Routes

  • Bookings Screen: This screen displays an overview of all routes assigned to you. Tap on a route to see more details.

  • Selected Route Screen: After selecting a route, you'll see a detailed view with all the stops included.

Starting Your Route

  • Start Route Screen: Once you arrive at the warehouse, the app will prompt you to confirm if you have arrived. Click "Arrived" to continue.

  • Loading Screen: Follow the instructions to perform the necessary actions at the location, such as loading colli. The app will show which tasks you need to perform and what items need to be scanned and loaded. The colli are organized by order to make loading more efficient. Click "Continue" to proceed.

  • Scan each collo as it comes up on the screen and select how you want to register it:

    • Accept colli: Indicates that the scanned collo came exactly as expected, with no deviations

    • Accept with deviation: Click this to register a deviation in relation to the collo

    • Reject colli: Click this to reject and not load the collo

  • When all the colli have been loaded, click Accept and Complete

During the Route

  • Start of Driving Screen: After completing the loading, the app will transition to the driving mode, guiding you to the first stop.

  • Customer Details Screen: Before arriving at each stop, the app will display the details of the stop, including contact information for the customer and any delivery instructions.

  • Arrival at Customer: When you approach the customer’s location, the app will prompt you to confirm your arrival. Click "Arrived" to continue and perform the required tasks at the stop.

Handling Different Scenarios

  • Authority to Leave (ATL) Screen: If the customer has opted for an ATL delivery, the app will provide instructions accordingly.

  • Tasks and Time Management Screen: You can view and track the tasks required for each delivery, as well as monitor the time spent at each stop.

  • End of Task Screen: After completing a delivery, capture the customer's signature or take photos as needed.

Handling Issues and Exceptions

Reporting Colli Deviations

When you encounter issues with specific colli, you can report deviations directly in the app. The colli are grouped by order to help you track which items belong together.

Deviation Screen: During scanning, if you need to report a deviation for a collo, select the appropriate option and follow the prompts:

When reporting Colli damaged, make sure you mark which colli has an issue:

Description and images are required when reporting damaged colli:

If colli is missing, it is necessary to again relate the one that is missing, but image is not required, only the description:

Colli that is incorrectly packed needs both - the description and photo documentation after you related colli for this specific deviation:

No capacity in vehicle & Other deviation both needs description, but not the images:

Stop Completion with Deviations

When you mark colli with deviations and click "Continue," the stop outcome depends on your organization's settings:

  • If all colli are rejected, the stop will automatically fail, and return stops will be created to bring the colli back to the warehouse

  • If at least one collo is accepted, the stop can be completed successfully

  • Depending on your organization's requirements, some deliveries may require that all colli be delivered together - in such cases, if one collo has a deviation, all colli at that stop will be marked as not delivered

Reporting Stop Deviations

If you need to fail an entire stop (for example, if the customer is not at home or the address is wrong), you can report a stop deviation:

  1. Click on "Stop deviation" in the Scanning Screen

  2. Select the deviation reason (wrong address, customer not at home, or other reasons)

  3. Select which colli apply to that deviation (optional)

  4. Go through the usual deviation steps

  5. Choose to fail the stop if needed

This option is available both at delivery stops and at pickup stops at the distribution center.

Failing Pickup Stops

It is possible to fail pickup stops at the distribution center by either:

  • Rejecting all the colli and completing the stop, or

  • Raising a deviation through "Stop deviation" and choosing "Fail the stop" as the option for continuing the execution

Taking a Break

  • Break Screen: The app will notify you when it’s time for a break, ensuring compliance with driving regulations.

Completing the Route

  • To Last Stop Screen: Follow the app’s guidance to the final stop of the route.

  • End of Route Screen: Confirm that all tasks have been completed and close the route within the app.
