Introduction

The Mover platform’s route-planning algorithm is designed for top-tier efficiency, ensuring every route is optimized to save time, fuel, and resources. But sometimes, you need the flexibility to make adjustments—whether it's balancing workloads or managing stops that don't align perfectly. That’s where Drag & Drop comes in.

This feature allows you to take full control of your routes by moving stops within a route or even between routes. Best of all, built-in guardrails ensure you’re aware of any violations like weight, capacity, or time constraints. The result? Greater flexibility while maintaining operational excellence.

Getting Started

How to Set Up Drag & Drop:

Follow these steps to enable and start using Drag & Drop:

  1. Check Permissions:

    • Ensure your role includes the “Edit Route” permission.

    • Go to Organizations in the Mover platform.

    • Under Roles, click your role to open permission settings and verify that the “Edit Route” permission is enabled.

That’s it, simple as that! You’re ready to start customizing routes.

Your New Drag & Drop Interface

One line of how to access Drag&Drop

The updated interface makes route planning intuitive. (change it to the smth to do with manual part, planner have control) Here’s what you’ll find:

Route Overview Panel: (put number 1 to brdcrumbs)

Breadcrumbs:

Follow your navigation trail at the top of the interface, ensuring you always know where you are. (See highlighted breadcrumbs in the screenshot.)

Zoom In and Out:

Adjust the map view to see an overview of all routes or focus on specific stops.

Undo/Redo Buttons:

Quickly revert changes or redo edits with a single click.

Bottom Bar:

View key metrics such as total driving time, distance, weight, and volume in a convenient summary.

Route Overview in the map:

  • Visualizes planned routes and stops for easy adjustments.

  • Color-coded lines connect grouped stops, helping you track route segments at a glance.

Activity Icons for Stops:

  • Each stop is clearly labeled with icons to indicate its type:

    • Delivery Stop:

    • Pickup Stop:

    • Break Stop:

    • Charging Stop:

    • Service Stop:

You'll also notice that stops grouped together are highlighted with color markings when selected. This makes it easy to visually organize your route and quickly identify clusters of stops.
