How to report damage from using Mover

What should you do if you find yourself in a situation where your goods have been damaged?

If your goods have been damaged during a trip with Mover, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 24 hours.

For transport-related damage, the claim will be processed through our insurance. Coverage depends on the value of the item, with a maximum insured value of 75,000 DKK per transport, and a deductible of 1,000 DKK.

Please note that insurance coverage applies only if the correct weight was stated at the time of booking and the item was properly packed or wrapped to withstand normal transport conditions. Proper packing is the responsibility of the customer.

When reporting damage, please include the following information in your email:

  • Documentation of the damage: Photos and a description of the packaging and the item's condition before transport.

  • Compensation details: Invoice showing the cost price (excluding VAT) or a purchase receipt.

  • Explanation: A detailed description of the incident.

Once we file the claim with our insurance company, they will manage the follow-up process directly with you.
