How do I report damage from using a Mover?

What should you do if you find yourself in a situation where your goods have been damaged?

If you find yourself in a situation where your goods have been damaged during a trip with Mover, please email [email protected]. We will respond within 24 hours.

For transport damage, the issue will be handled by our insurance. Please note that insurance coverage depends on the value of the item and is insured up to a maximum of 75,000 DKK per transport, with a deductible of 1,000 DKK.

Additionally, insurance coverage requires that the correct weight of the item is stated at the time of booking and that the item is properly packed or wrapped to withstand normal transportation conditions. Proper packing or wrapping is your responsibility as the customer.

In your email, please include the following information, which will be forwarded to our insurance:

  • Documention of the damage

    Photos and a description of the packaging and condition before shipping.

  • Compensation

    Invoice showing the cost price excluding VAT or purchase receipt.

  • Explanation:

    Description of the incident (the more information, the better).

After we file the claim with our insurance company, they will continue the dialogue with you. Please note that the insurance company may request additional information beyond the above to process the claim.
