Introduction

Navigating a new software can be intimidating, which is why we have created a Mover Starter Pack to help you hit the ground running with our TMS.

This guide is a 4-step decoder ring giving you a rundown of how to configure the necessary settings before you can start planning routes.

Step 1: Check and Update Your Profile Settings

First things first: Head over to the Profile Settings after you log in. It’s important to get these details right because they affect how you will see information on the platform.

Make sure your time zone and language are set correctly to avoid any confusion with time stamps or date formats. This small step will make sure everything looks familiar and makes sense to you.

Step 2: Update Your Organization Settings

Organization Settings is the place for managing your company’s profile and configuring individual settings that will feed into the functionality of different TMS features.

These settings include:

  • unique company identification info (ID, name, VAT number, country of registration)

  • reservations buffers (useful when creating Resource Reservations for executing your routes)

Step 3: Invite Your Team

Next, bring your team on board. Getting them set up from the get-go ensures that everyone can dive in and use the tools they need for their roles. For example, it will allow your Logistics Planner to schedule routes without a hitch.

Step 4: Add Your Fleet

The TMS needs to know about your vehicles and drivers to plan routes efficiently, so take the time to add your fleet details to the system early on. You will thank yourself later!

Pro tip: When you first log in, as a first-time or seasoned user, you will land on the Routes page. This page is designed for monitoring deliveries that are already up and running. As a new user, you might not find this page useful right away. That’s because it relies on the setup that we just covered, so set yourself up for success by applying these steps. Once done, go ahead and plan your first route - we’ve got that covered here!
